Difficulty that produces evidence
- 1. Strike: answer or generate the rule before revealing it.
- 2. Repair: explain a missed distinction in your own words.
- 3. Rematch: retrieve the concept again after other questions interfere.
- 4. Temper: return after at least 20 hours and win without assistance.
Raw → Forged → Tempered → Masterwork. Hints remain available, but assisted work is reported separately from cold recall.
How source verification works
Every answer review shows its current source status. Primary-source verified means the question has a direct IRS or other official authority link and has been reviewed for the named SEE cycle. Source review pending means the item remains useful practice, but it is not used in the verified readiness diagnostic.
EA Dojo currently publishes 566 primary-source-verified questions and no pending questions. Review status is shown rather than implied, and the official IRS sample questions are linked directly from the practice page.
Sharing and study notes
Articles, lessons, and general guides remain selectable so students can take notes. Assessment material—including practice questions, textbook recall cards, article challenges, answers, and explanations—limits copying and printing to discourage bulk reposting. Right-click and primary-authority links remain available for accessibility and verification. This is practical friction, not a claim that browser-delivered material can be made impossible to extract. Share the page link when recommending a study surface.
What we collect (and why)
When you answer a question, we log whether it was correct — tied to the question ID only, not your name. Aggregate stats show which questions trip people up. That data helps us build smarter review paths and future deck content.
Flashcard sessions also save progress in your browser (localStorage) so you can resume mid-deck. Forge tiers, assistance used, repairs, rematches, and delayed-review dates are also stored only in that browser. Written repair text is not saved or sent.
