EA Dojo

Privacy Policy

EA Dojo does not sell personal information. Practice does not require an account.

Practice questions. No account required. Questions load directly in your browser. We store aggregate correct/incorrect counts to improve question quality.

Email signup. If you request an email resource or study sequence, we store your email address, signup time and page, an opaque lead identifier, the requested offer, email-delivery status, and applicable return-click or study milestones. You may optionally tell us where you heard about EA Dojo and, after signup, what broad outcome you want next. That optional goal is stored with its source page and used to recommend and measure a matching EA Dojo next step. One-off taxpayer checklists do not enter the study or promotional sequence. Every message includes an unsubscribe link.

Contact messages. The contact form stores the name and email you choose to provide, the selected topic, your full message, submission time, and referring EA Dojo page for up to 90 days so we can reply and handle abuse. Do not submit taxpayer names, Social Security numbers, EINs, account numbers, tax returns, notices, documents, or confidential client facts.

Problem reports. If you report a question or interface problem, we store the report text, optional email, page, question context, and submission time privately for up to 180 days so the issue can be reproduced and resolved. Reports are not posted to a public board.

Email updates. When you sign up for a requested resource or study sequence, you also agree to receive occasional EA Dojo study reminders and updates about new question banks, features, news, and tips — no more than twice a month — as disclosed on the signup form. We record the consent version, source page, and signup time, and you can unsubscribe from any message. Existing study subscribers who did not sign up under this disclosure can request updates separately at /updates; that path requires a confirmation email before updates begin. A later resource request does not silently restore permission after an unsubscribe.

Journey recommendations. You may optionally choose a current goal or communication skill so EA Dojo can show one relevant next action instead of every available tool. Support needs, completed-tool markers, recommendation dismissals, and the current journey choice remain in this browser and can be cleared with “Reset recommendations.” Page context may affect the recommendation on that page but is not saved as an identity. EA Dojo does not infer language ability from a name, location, nationality, or accent. If you separately choose a broad goal after an eligible email signup, only that disclosed broad goal—not the browser-local communication preference—is added to the subscriber record.

Product Labs. Most guided-preview responses, repairs, and rematches remain only in your browser. The Client Interview Lab sends each fictional-case question and your final fictional client explanation to EA Dojo's Cloudflare Workers endpoint. Deterministic rules answer known language first. When wording is unmatched, Cloudflare Workers AI may use the Llama 3.1 8B Instruct Fast model only to map the question to an allowlisted fictional-case fact; it is not asked to generate tax advice. The words are processed for the response but are not written to EA Dojo's KV storage, analytics, subscriber records, or a user account. The transcript and competency profile are saved locally in your browser so you can resume. Do not enter real taxpayer facts, identifiers, or documents. If you ask to hear when a Lab becomes available, we store your email address, the Lab, source path, and preview/interest timestamps. A Lab-only interest does not enroll you in the EA Dojo study-email sequence, create an account, take payment, reserve capacity, or grant an entitlement.

Optional analytics. GA4 and EA Dojo's aggregate acquisition beacons are off until you choose “Allow analytics.” If allowed, GA4 measures page use and aggregate study-funnel and bridge-pilot events. Bridge events include concept identifiers and strategy labels only—never typed repair text. EA Dojo does not send email addresses, names, full question text, client-interview text, or explanations to GA4. You may change the choice at any time through “Analytics preferences” in the footer; choosing off prevents future analytics and removes accessible GA cookies.

Search improvement. With analytics allowed, we store aggregate landing-page, referring-host, study-link, and conversion counts in Cloudflare D1, with KV as a bounded fallback. Aggregate fallback counters are retained for up to 400 days. Events carry random session and event identifiers for rate limits and duplicate suppression. Duplicate markers expire after one day. Rate-limit keys use truncated hashes rather than raw IP addresses or recipient addresses. We do not store search queries, full referring URLs, or raw IP addresses in this dataset.

Attribution. Your browser may retain the first campaign source, referring hostname, landing path, and opaque lead identifier so a later study completion or optional EA Coach handoff can be attributed. We exclude full referring URLs, search terms, and payment information.

Operator exclusion. A browser that successfully unlocks the private SEO Lab stores a local operator flag so future owner/testing activity from that browser is excluded from public acquisition counts.

Cookies and browser storage. GA4 uses first-party cookies only after analytics permission. EA Dojo stores that permission in local storage. EA Dojo also uses browser storage for practice progress, Card Forge tiers and attempt metadata, delayed-review dates, Client Interview Lab transcripts and competency reports, optional journey preferences and dismissals, and the limited attribution described above. Forge records contain question IDs, correctness, assistance level, timestamps, and repair counts. A written Forge repair draft is stored temporarily in this tab's session storage for in-session continuity; the draft is not transmitted. No third-party advertising cookies.

Affiliate recommendations. An optional third-party English-speaking community may be shown on its directly relevant guide or after you explicitly select spoken-English practice. The recommendation is labeled as an affiliate link, and EA Dojo may earn a commission at no added cost to you. Following an external link is subject to that provider's own privacy practices.

Your data. There are no EA Dojo user accounts or payment processing. Email, contact, Lab-interest, or attribution records are not sold or used for third-party advertising.
